This university offers the following Masters, Doctorates, Courses, Careers undergraduate and Graduate degrees:
Doctoral studiesOne of the objectives of the Organic Law on Universities (LOU) is to train new researchers and to prepare research teams that can successfully deal with the challenges offered by the new sciences, techniques and methodologies. It also aims to foster the training of academic staff and to perfect the professional, scientific, technical and artistic development of those with higher qualifications. To do so, there are suggested minimum numbers of students for each programme. Mechanisms are also established with which to carry out joint planning and evaluation of the quality of those programmes, while at the same time respecting the autonomy of the university. All the credits of the programme will be divided into two periods. The first will consist of a period of teaching and the second will be a period of supervised research. The purpose of this is to enable students to specialise in a particular scientific, technical or artistic field, while at the same time training them in research techniques. On finishing the first of these two periods, students will be given an overall grade and then issued a certificate valid in any Spanish university which accredits their having passed the teaching phase. At the end of the second phase, students will be given a certificate-diploma to certify that they have successfully completed higher studies. Without overlapping with postgraduate studies, these will grant doctoral studies a number of different functions and will be useful for those who do not want to stay on in the third cycle. The abovementioned certificate-diploma will acknowledge the work done by its holder in a particular area of knowledge. It will also certify the student's research aptitude and be officially recognised in all Spanish universities.
