The student is firstly taught general electronics, which
progressively gets broaden in a number of industry-applied
disciplines: automation, servocontrol, robotics, industrial
computing, control of electrical machines, etc.
At the end of this scheme, the student achieves an optimum theory
and practice level by developing practical work with the tools
presently used in industry.

Technical Engineering in Management Computing at Mataró
University College of Technology provides students with solid
education and allows them to achieve high-level computing knowledge,
not only in the area of software development (applications analysis,
design and programming), but also in the management of computing
departments. At the same time, students achieve background knowledge
in the fields of economy and computer hardware.
On the other hand, the methodology applied permits the student to
get a good balance between theory and practice. Thus, we intend to
enhance theory concepts by using those computing tools which they

telephony and wireless networks, and videoconferencing are just some
of the present tools and services provided by Telematics. With them,
we can develop a virtual world of on-line multimedia transactions.
